Intersection of Kelly Road and Apex Barbeque Road

This is outside of Apex’s corporate limits, so Apex PD does not keep stats on accidents, but I have requested that staff contact NC Highway Patrol to get those numbers.  Then we’ll look into requesting NCDOT to place (or allow Apex to place) “cross traffic does not stop” signs or other measures at the intersection.

 

The town council voted unanimously to waive all permit fees from April 2, 2007 to June 29, 2007 for residents making renovations, building a deck or adding a pool to their property.  More information can be found by reading the article from the Apex Herald. Here are various excerpts from Apex Town Councilman, Bryan M. I’m pleased to announce that since that article was written, several local businesses are working to partner with the Town of Apex during the 90 day period to make the “Holiday” even better.

For example, one of the home improvement stores in town is finalizing plans to provide gift cards for program participants, and at least two local banks are planning special rates or incentives for home improvement loans from April through June.  When combined, residents who begin a home renovation project during the holiday could save several hundred dollars off the total cost of their project.
