2011 Home Improvement Initiative
Wednesday, April 27th, 2011
This idea is designed to encourage home owners to complete maintenance and/or improvement projects on the outside of their home by defraying some of the cost through a rebate of up to $50 per year. It may not seem like a lot, but it could pay for your first round of fertilizer with weed controls for your lawn, your spring flowers, your seasonal mulch bought in bulk, the rental on a power washer for half a day, or a new mailbox post, just to name a few.
Homeowners wishing to participate should complete the project reimbursement application and submit it to the HOA for approval and then complete the project after receiving approval. The receipts are then sub-mitted for reimbursement (up to $50 per household). The HOA will send you a check or credit your 2012 homeowner assessment. We would like to encourage homeowners to work with their neighbors on projects like fertilization, flowers, mulch, and power washing since these services are better pur-chased in bulk and will maximize your use of the rebate.
